that we have been able to grow from one store to 63 stores in Southern Africa,” said Managing Executive of Tiger Wheel & Tyre, Alex Taplin, as he addressed a crowd of more than 200 enthusiastic guests who had all turned up at the Montana store in support of the lucky draw.
But while the Bug was the star of the show, second and third place entries did not walk off empty handed. In second place Marcus Mashigo from Menlyn also drove off with a Ducati Moto mini-bike and in third place, Mr Welthagen from Nelspruit, won a fully equipped Gedore toolbox from Tiger Wheel & Tyre and its sponsors.
While all 19 contestants walked away with consolation prizes such as Pirelli and Michelin Hampers, the rest of the crowd was showered with courtesy prizes the whole evening forward: signed Blue Bulls shirts, Placecol beauty treatment vouchers, mini compressors, Michelin car mats, to name just a few.
Afrikaans pop icon, Pieter Koen, also made a grand appearance on the evening and took the role of master of ceremonies while entertaining the crowd. Not to be forgotten, a host of well known Blue Bulls players took time out of their Currie Cup campaign to show their support, and were also there to join in the celebrations.
“Tiger Wheel & Tyre would just like to congratulate Mr Zeeman and all the participants, and tthank the Montana team and the Tshwane Regional Manager, Christo Joubert, for hosting this event. We look forward to seeing more winners in our upcoming promotions throughout this year and into the future,” ends Taplin.
